No: No chance of that. The amount of muscle jerking is not generally more vigourous that the muscle contractions that you use in everyday life. They feel a little weird but are not damaging in any way. Nerve conduction studies are done on the extremities and not in the spinal area.

No fracture risk: Emg (electromyography) and nerve conduction studies do not carry any additional risk for a patient with osteoporosis or for a person with hardware in the spine. There is more fracture risk getting on and off the exam table and for getting in and out of your car for your appointment than for the studies themselves. Rest assured!
