Yes: During a c-section there is some tugging and stretching of the abdominal and pelvic tissues to make room for the baby to deliver. Sometimes, the bladder is mildly traumatized in this process and small traumatized blog vessels can cause blood in the urine. Unless there is an actual bladder injury this condition usually clears up in the first 12-24 hours following the surgery.
