Protects: If you are not immune to measles, mumps, or rubella this vaccine protects you from risks of these diseases. Internationally these illnesses are common, but also occur in the usa. If uncertain if at risk because immune status unknown, ask for an MMR titer prior to considering vaccine. If born after 1956(especially between 1957 & 1970) may well need booster.

No Immunity&Risk: If a child does not get MMR Vaccine there is no immunity and if one comes in contact with some one with these diseses there is a big risk to be infected with these It is not a good idea to go unprotected
