Many possibilities: One possibility that comes to mind is hyperthyroidism. Too much thyroid hormone can cause both symptoms. Anything that causes "palpitations" can cause dizziness by effecting blood flow to the brain. You definitely need to see your doctor for an ekg, bloodwork and an exam.

Arrhythmia: They could be symptoms of a cardiac arrhythmia but not necessarily. You need some evaluation to pin this down.
