Maybe: Heart flutter or palpitations may be a simple muscle spasm not even related to the heart, or it may be a symptom of a serious heart rhythm disturbance. If accompanied by chest pain, shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness or lightheadedness, nausea/vomiting or if persistent, you should be seen immediately. The safest route is to talk to your dr about it so a good history can be obtained.
