What is reason for breast revision surgery?

Breast revision: Breast revision surgery is usually an aesthetic "revision" surgery of the breast, most often a "redo" after breast augmentation. Sometimes "adding" a breast lift (mastopexy), or removing and replacing implants (up or down sizing). Revisions also occur with breast reconstruction but that is still referred to as breast reconstruction (even it is is a revision).

Breast implants: A breast revision is performed to improve the cosmetic appearance of a breast that has previously had surgery. For example, a revision of a breast that has already undergone augmentation with an implant. There can be a number of reasons for the surgery. http://www.dassmd.com/breast-augmentation/breast-augmentation-revision-los-angeles.html.

Breast revision: Breast revision is defined as surgery carried out on the breast to change something that was done in the past due to concerns raised by the patient and confirmed by the plastic surgeon.
