THERE IS NO: Specific treatment. Protection and prevention play a role, but floaters will happen.

Usually don't: Various treatments for floaters have been tried including braking them apart with lasers and removing the fluid in the back of the eye where the floaters are. None have been tremendously successful and are generally not recommended unless the floater is extremely bothersome and has been there for some time.
