Some thoughts: Your symptoms may be caused by a number of factors. If you have a history of allergic disease, a family history or childhood history of asthma, these are risk factors for wheezing in response to environmental triggers. If you have symptoms such as a dry, hacking cough, shortness of breath, chest pressure, I would suggest lung function testing. Infections and cardiac causes should also be ruled out
