Can sodium bicarbonate take away teeth stains?

Yes: Also known as baking soda. Baking soda was commonly used by mixing with water and using it to brush your teeth. Dentists don't recommend using it this way, but many toothpaste companies have incorporated sodium bicarbonate in their whitening toothpastes. If used properly, these toothpastes are helpful for removing extrinsic stains. If the staining is intrinsic, no amount of baking soda will work.
