can adenosine be used on a patient with wolffe parkinson white wpw syndrome?

Dr. Ankush Bansal
16 years experience Internal Medicine
No: Adenosine should not be used in wpw. It can block the electrical transmission in the normal pathways of the heart which can exacerbate wpw.
