Lots: Now there are a lot of new medications on the market that were not there when Actos (pioglitazone) came out. I hesitate to mention specific medications because each has risks and benefits and you are a special person. It would be best to discuss your case with your diabetes doctor and make a choice specific to your needs if you were/are on Actos (pioglitazone) and want to switch.
