Variable number: In infancy, we expect kids to urinate on a regular basis every 4-6 hours, day or night. The super absorbent diapers sometimes make this hard to monitor as many small voids are drawn into the dehydrating crystals in the diaper fluff. In hospitals we routinely weigh the diaper to determine output. Kids who like to drink often may go more but i worry when they go < once every 6hrs.
