Breast feed: If you are breast feeding, continue to do so. The child should have at least five to six diapers per day that are wet. Eating is not that important if the child is drinking. YOu can get pedialyte in flavors that the child will probably like. If you can get flavored water such as Koolaid to drink that is better than not takking anything. If the child is not taking adequate call the doc or go to ER

>=5 times a day: At least 5 a day. Try Ricelyte or Pedialyte for hydration. Take a small syringe without a needle and dose 1-2 cc's directed into her inner cheek as often as possible. If she doesn't put out urine in 6 hours, to ER. Otherwise, use saline sterile drops in one nostril at a time with very gentle suctioning. If she acts lethargic, has sunken eyes, begins vomiting or diarrhea or develops a fever, ER.
