No: Colic is a developmental stage, not a dietary intolerance. Changing formula won't help, it just increases the expense and frequent formula changes will make the child even fussier- babies don't like change.

Yes: If a baby is deemed "colicky" by the doctor, try a formula such as alimentum, nutramigen, or pregestimil for at least 2 weeks, to see if the baby gets happier.
