May not need to: It is in general better to have a low blood pressure, you will live longer. If it is very low because of some acute problem and the output of the heart is low, that is a horse of a different color. That is called shock. It might result in a low urine output, confusion, and even unconsciousness. The treatment would depend on the cause such as dehydration, bleeding, infection, or whatever.

Fix?: How do you know it needs to be fixed? Unless you're passing out, low BP is generally a good thing.
