Secretion, irritatio: Thisis a viral infection of the mucus lining of the eye (the conjunctiva) which causes excess tearing, thick secretion, redness, irritation and minor changes in vision. It may affect both eyes. It is commonly contagious. See your ophthalmologist if you suspect this condition.
