What are symptoms of pink eye?

Red and gooey: The white of your eye is often red/irritated and there often is a discolored discharge. Often your eye lid will be stuck together with discharge in the morning. Some itching/burning may also be present. Good idea to seek medical care for this one as you don't want to mess with your vision!

Red, discharge: Pink eye usually refers to viral conjunctivitis, symptoms include some drainage, either watery or thicker. Lids can be stuck and swollen, foreign body sensation with burning, eye is red bloodshot and irritated, transfer easily from one eye to the other, very contagious.

Itchy eye: Itching and or burning and matter in the eye, redness.

Red eye: Red eye, tearing, irritation/scratching and mucousy tears with crusting of your eyelashes. Commonly your other eye will be affected also.

Conjunctivitis: Symptoms of conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, include reddness and irritation of the eye, especially the membrane lining the eyelids, the conjunctiva. This may also cause tearing or a discharge from the eye.

Secretion, irritatio: Thisis a viral infection of the mucus lining of the eye (the conjunctiva) which causes excess tearing, thick secretion, redness, irritation and minor changes in vision. It may affect both eyes. It is commonly contagious. See your ophthalmologist if you suspect this condition.

Pain, irritation: Pain, irritation, discharge.

Sx's: Pink eye symptoms can effect one or both eyes. They many include redness &/or itchiness, increased tearing, discharge & gritty sensation.
