Thawing issues: It is recommended that pre-stuffed turkeys not be thawed prior to cooking. Thawing a pre-stuffed turkey can take quite a while – allowing potential bacteria to multiply. Usda further recommends that pre-stuffed turkeys have state or usda inspection mark on package.
