A member asked:

Is it dangerous to go cold turkey regarding my estrace (estradiol)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but: It might be uncomfortable. If you are taking oral Estrace (estradiol) or using a patch and you stop suddenly, you may have a lot of hot flashes, night sweats, and possibly some mood instability. If you are using Estrace (estradiol) vaginal cream, you would be less likely to have these symptoms, but still might to a lesser extent. It is not dangerous to stop suddenly however.
