5-7 days: Patch testing is done over a 5-7 days span. The first day, the allergens are applied to the back and taped into place, then 3 days later they are removed and "read". Then you return on day 5 or 7 for the "delayed-read". Overall, you have to keep you back dry for 5-7 days which can be a challenge.
