How long does it take for alt to go down and liver to no longer be mildly enlarged after mono? never was tested for mono but still elev after 4 months

Mono: typically, the liver numbers would be normalized four months after a bout of infectious mononucleosis. If they are still elevated, and particularly if they have not improved, one must consider whether there are other potential liver abnormalities present. If you have not yet seen a gastroenterologist, it would be important to do so to sort this out. Continue to avoid alcohol. Good luck.
