Redness, pain, crust: Eczema can easily get secondary infected. The signs of infection within an area of eczema are swelling, increasing pain, yellow/gold crusting, redness. If it goes further, you may experience systemic symptoms like a fever, chills, shakes. If any of this happens, call your doctor immediately.
