A member asked:

Is it okay to let my child eat in front of the pc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

? long term effect ?: Pc's like televisions are used by many as a convenient distraction for kids.In the short term i see little problem with the practice. However, if the kid begins to internally link PC viewing with food they can begin having brain generated hunger messages any time they sit & view one. Over the years this may add to their risk of obesity the way we know tv viewing does today.
