Why wont some people get help for mental disorders?

Avoiding therapy: In the many years i've been doing therapy, I have found that there is always a percentage of the population that resists and/or refuses to get help for their psychological problems. The reasons for this are as varied as peoples' personalities are, but as a general rule, these individuals are either in denial of their problems, are anxious about looking at themselves, or would rather blame others.
