Can people ever get completely rid of these mental disorders, or am i supposed to drink medicine my whole life?

Some disorders: Are chronic like diabetes. Type 1 diabetics need to be on Insulin for the rest of their lives, but can control the symptoms if they work at it. Some mental disorders require medication but with therapy can be controlled better.
