A member asked:

What medical remedies are safe for mood disorders in people with epilepsy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antidepressants...: Although antidepressants have not been well studied in epilepsy and can even cause seizures in someone not on their medication, antidepressants have been used safely. Avoid wellbutrin, (bupropion) and Anafranil and talk to your doctor and tell them if you have epilepsy.
