Semen odor: And consistency is related to diet, frequency of sex more than prostatitis, which is irritative causing urinary symptoms, and may be be urine odor. We suspect bacterial cause, but we cannot culture the prostate; we culture urine that passes through the prostatic urethra. Prosca treatment, seed implants, cause chronic prostatis sometime. We frankly do not know specific cause.
