What happens if someone takes flecainide and diltiazem hydrochloride?

Slow heart rate: Both medications slow the electrical conduction through the heart. The combination may slow specialized nerve tissue too much and lead to serious bradycardia or heart block. The combination should be carefully monitored by your physician.

Hopefully not much: If prescribed by your physician, hopefully not much other than keep the arrhythmia away.

Flecainide: Is only to be used in patients with a structurally normal heart who have a normal stress test. Highly effective anti arrhythmic.
