Humoral and cellular: Immune response has two main components, antibodies and cell mediated immunity. The two are complementary. In addition to the acquired immune response described above, there is an innate component that also consists of soluble mediators and cell. Lymphoid tissue in lymph nodes, spleen, liver, intestine, bronchi, tonsils etc are part to immune system.
