Treatment...: You should have your bronchodilator inhaler available so you can take it if you develop an asthma exacerbation on the plane. If you develop worsening symptoms despite using your inhaler, alert the airplane staff as there is medical equipment on the plane. They can also arrange for emergent care on the ground once the plane lands. Asthma can be life-threatening so tell someone stat!
