Asthma is not a game: Asthma attacks, status asthmaticus, can be an acute medical emergency and usually requires medical intervention. Get to medical care not only to relieve this attack, but to start appropriate daily controller therapy. Asthma is not a game. Don't play doctor!

Rescue inhaler: If you have been diagnosed with asthma you probably have a rescue inhaler for attacks. To ease or reduce the number of attacks you should be aware of what triggers them. Animal dander, cold air, exercise, and allergies to dust,etc are common as well as strong emotional outbursts. Minimizing these can help. If the attacks are frequent you my need controller inhalers.
