How can i prevent excessive earwax buildup?

Q tips make things worse, irritating the canal and causing more wax or tamping it down. Sometimes weekly appication of ear meds such as debrox or ear irrigation can help prevent buildup. Bad cases need a primary doctor or ENT to mechanically remove the wax which can buy you months of relief.
