What complications are associated with dental x-rays?

Not many: There are very few complications with dental x-rays. The amount of radiation a patient receives from a full set of dental x-rays (usually 20-24 individual tooth x-rays) is much less than that person receives from normal sunshine in one day.

???: Not really sure what you are asking. With digital xrays used today, radiation levels are very low. Trauma in the mouth is really the only adverse effect as sometimes the sensors or film might bruise the soft tissue.

None: With digital xrays there is 90% less radiation used and with lead apron withthyroid colar, there really is no risk versus the benefits of dental xrays.

Little: Even conventional dental x- rays emit little radiation. It is the c t scans that emit much larger amounts.
