Can chiropractic adjustments help soreness?

Short term: Chiropractic is based upon an outmoded theory proven to be wrong. Therefore they cannot diagnosis or cure. However they offer a deep massage which can relieve some degrees of back pain and soreness. Best to see your regular doctor first for a diagnosis and cure if possible. See the chiropractor as if you were visiting a massage therapist only.

Often Times, Yes.: Soreness can be caused by a number of structures in your body. It could be the muscle, joint, or other soft tissues that irritate the nerves. When dealing with soreness, muscles, joint and nerve should be addressed. The joint may be out of alignment, irritating a nerve, causing a muscle to fire, and so on. They used to refer to this as the safety pin cycle.
