How would know if elbow pain is from nerve, muscle, or skeletal problems?

Type of symptoms: You give no details as to your symptoms, so in general one would say that the symptoms would typically be distinct. Of course conditions could overlap. So for example, after skeletal trauma one could very well develop ulnar nerve issues.

I fell at work really hard on elbow got bone bruise 2 days ago. not to lift over2 lb. but besides that when i go to grip some i get a sharp painfrom wrist to elblow. i dont think bone bruise does that. i'm thinkin more as nerve , muscle ,,, can you?
