Yes: Surgery is usually the last resort for most back problems except major trauma. Therapy, postural exercises, yoga, weight loss and/or exercise, gait training, job retraining, as well as meditatation (to relieve stress) are helpful adjucts. Note: not all back pain is created equal to please get check by a specialist. Note: beware of fad or gimmicky advertisements for back relief. Feel better.
