Easy to catch!: You bet! the virus is spread via nose and throat secretions, blister fluid and poop. You're most contagious during the first week of symptoms although you can shed virus for several weeks later. You can return to daycare or school when your blisters are healed. Adults can sometimes get hfm disease but usually happens to kids under 10 years old.
