Derm. Dr. can check: A dermatologist (skin doctor) can look at a person's spider veins to see if that is really what they are. Dermatologists may be able to get rid of spider veins with a laser. It sounds odd that a spider vein should hurt (the doctor can also check to be sure it is not a skin cancer with blood vessels flowing to it).
