Post-op pain: It's pretty common to have on-again off-again pain for several weeks after surgery, but if it's severe or doesn't resolve quickly you need to call your surgeon asap - that's what he/she wants you to do.

Healing !: Your surgeon can provide nsaids to decrease the post operative pain caused by inflammatory changes . If pain increases you may need to be see asap.
