Nasal Rinse: There are many different ways to dislodge mucus in the back of your throat including blowing, snorting, sniffing, gargling, and other techniques. Chronic problems with build of of thick mucus may respond best to a regimen that includes nasal/sinus rinsing. This form of rinse will also help loosen mucus in the "nasopharynx" or back of the nose/throat. Ent exam helps to determine the cause.
