Does baking soda clean teeth evenly or not?

Don't use it: Straight baking soda might be more abrasive for your teeth than you think. How does it get teeth white, by actually abrading away tooth structure. Too much abrasion and you have many other types of problems.

Yes, but....: Baking soda can be used instead of toothpaste to clean teeth. It can do almost as much for as toothpaste. The best way to make sure your teeth are cleaned evenly is to use the proper technique for brushing and spend enough time brushing. Flossing will significantly help also.
