Color blindness: Color blindness is an example of an x linked recessive trait. It is carried on the x chromosome and since men HAV eone x and one y they will display the color blind trait. The man will pass his x to his doughters but since they will get an x from the mother which is most lilkely normal they will not be color blind. That daughter may pass one or the other x to her children. The sons will have no x.
