Isoimmunization: This is a case where antibodies are created against a component of red blood cells of the same species. Usually incompatibility with a mother and a fetus. Over 400 anitgens can cause this in theory though kell, aob and rh are the most common. Exchange transfusions and other measures are needed. Best answered by a ob.
