A member asked:

Does eating pecans make you less likely to get cancer? how many do i need to eat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No effect: If this were true, we would all be on a pecan diet. This was probably a marketing trick by the pecan growers and distributors. Pecans and other nuts may have some health benefits but do not prevent cancer.
