Why do people fear strawberries and watermelon and celery have more pesticides than with most other fruits/vegetables?

Avoid pesticides: Usda tests have found more than 60 different pesticides on celery, with similar amounts on strawberries. Fungus on the latter makes farmers spray. (maybe less pesticides on frozen ones.) watermelon is actually one of the safer alternatives. For top "dirty dozen" on pesticide list, it's best to buy organic.
