Infection: White cells (leucocytes) are the bodies way to fight infection. White cells in the urine are due to infection somewhere in the urinary tract. The infection could be in the urethra, bladder or kidney. In males the sexual delivery system could also be infected. Hopefully the specimen containing the white cells was collected properly and if so it could be analyzed for bacterial growth.
