A member asked:

My intake of cholesterol the past few days has been higher than usual. is that enough to cause high blood level?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: As there are multiple cholesterol particles and sub types, they will respond differently to dietary changes and the amount of time that the change manifests will also vary. For the most part, triglycerides will respond to dietary changes sooner and usually with more noticeable difference than HDL might.
