Any similarities physiologically between depression from chronic traumatic encephalopothy (cte) and depression without head trauma?

Some: In both conditions people looked depressed, have decreased initiative, might be isolative, speech is soft, slow, monotone; decreased range of emotions, etc. Patients with cte, however, might not complain of depression and present more avolitional ( not interested, having no desires) then sad. Did you have a more specific question?
