Yes but only if . . : All supplements, herbs & medications have side effects. No such thing as a free lunch. Therefore, only use a medication if potential benefit(s) outweigh risks & side effects. Forteo (teriparatide) is used to increase bone strength in severe osteoporosis. It's given as a daily shot for up to 2yrs. After that, we worry about osteosarcoma in rats. But if you're not a rat, it appears to be safe 4 now.
