Highly Variable: Specific symptoms depend entirely upon exactly what was involved in the multiple trauma. Once safely out of the trauma bay in the er- many possible symptoms may develop. Fractures will reveal pain and crepitance in the area of injury. Vascular injuries (closed or open) may evolve into a compartment syndrome and need close observation. Airway/breathing difficulties may evolve over tme as well.
